It took us quite a lot of efforts to put together the data retrieved by the research of the situation, the expectations of the users and the feedback from the Quality control boards in the partner countries, but finally – thanks to the expertise of the project partners – we came up with the first deliverable – the curriculum for the GG course. It will be composed by 5 key training modules and here we are proud to share that our Gastro-Guides will learn about:
• Fundamentals of Tourism and Hospitality
• Identity and Context of Gastronomic Tourism
• Entrepreneurship in agro & gastro tourism
• Presentation and communication skills
• Coaching, mentoring techniques
We believe that these training modules and the learning outcomes designed explicitly for the profession of the Gastro-Guide will prepare our future professionals for the role of a coach and mentor of their local community in effort to boost the development of the gastro-tourism in their regions.
