The PRO EXTOUR Hub at VUM showcased the results from its pilot training today!
We remind you that the training started in December 2021, and its main topic was the development of entrepreneurial skills and the development of a tourist product in the field of experiential tourism with a focus on culture and historical heritage. At weekly meetings, the young participants in the training, together with the experts of the Hub, worked initially on individual projects, which subsequently united in one common idea - the "Karia" Experiential Marathon. At the beginning of March, the Hub team even visited the place where the event will be held, during which they met with representatives of the local community and discussed ideas and possibilities for holding a similar type of event.
Experiential Marathon "Karia" is planned as a three-day event in and around the village of Krapets, which combines in its program music (mixes between folklore and modern motifs), sports, creative workshops, seaside experiences (diving, fishing), culinary delights and a farmer's market. The purpose of the event is to bring together different audiences, who together, through the diverse experiences included in the program, get to know, understand and love the local culture, history and traditions. The name was also not chosen by chance - "Karia" is one of the oldest names of this place, which means "cornerstone" and refers to the concept of geography "cape".
We are all eager to experience the new KARIA Events Marathon around the Durankulak Lake!
