Sveshtary - Demir Baba Tekke - Ivanovo Rock Churches - Basarbovski Monastery

Visit the historical arhelogical reserve "Sboryanovo" near Sveshtari (part of the list of the 100 national tourist sites of the Bulgarian Tourist Union). The reserve is famous with its more than 140 archaeological and cultural monuments such as the ruins of the ancient city of Helis, Muslim shrine Demir Baba Tekke, Thracian sanctuary "Kamen Rid" and Sveshtary's tomb. Sveshtary tomb was opened in 1982 and it  is part of the Thracian heritage in our country. It is part of a hundred national tourist sites under UNESCO protection! Sveshtarska tomb is one of the nine Bulgarian miracles. In essence Sveshtarska Tomb Thracian-Hellenistic royal tomb. It is believed that she was prepared to Achish the king Drumihed that after his death he was buried in it. According to calculations by experts Sveshtarska tomb dates from 4-3 century BC.

Departure to Ivanovo Rock Churches in the Natural Park "Ruse Lom"
